Planets in the Solar Ssytem

Image Detail

Mercury. The first planet nearest to the sun. The one side faces the sun is very hot in which the other side is very cold. Aside from being a small planet, I don't think that man can live here.

Venus. The second planet nearest to the sun, it is said like twin of the Earth in terms of size but it has a high pressure of atmosphere and also a high temperature with poisonous gasses. Likewise man cannot survive in this planet. Let's skip the Earth and now we go to the Mars.

Mars, in terms of gravity and temperature , man can survive in this planet. Mars has been studied by man many times and proved to be the  likeliest place in the solar system next to earth.

Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system . Its so large that almost thrice the mass of all the planets combined. You could fit as much as eleven (11) Earth on it. With only hydrogen and helium on it , the same man cannot live in this planet.

Saturn. Which is known for its amazing ring, which is made of particles of ice ranging from a size of a grain  to a size of car. Saturn has much less mass and low density that when you put a very large amount of water , Saturn will float.

Next comes Uranus. The third largest planet in the solar system . It was the first planet to be discovered by the telescope. While all of the planets are tilted on their own axis ,Uranus is tilted over almost on its side.

The last planet is Neptune. It is the farthest planet from the sun in the solar system. It is the second planet discovered in modern times. Neptune was the first planet found by mathematical prediction.

And finally our home planet the Earth. It is the only planet known to have living things because of its atmosphere that keeps the planet warm from the vacuum of space. But now the atmosphere is becoming thinner that Earth experience a Global Warming today. It has magnetic field that helps protect life on Earth from the radiation of space. The living things we have on Earth are :
